Summer, what's going on

I have been busy with my stamp a stack, and splurge. I crafted looong, and hard so am kinda taking a break for now.

This is just a quick simple card I made, it's been a bit so let's hope I get the recipe right. I am just to lazy to trot upstairs to see exactly what I used. I know it's a bit of a "summery" card, but here she goes

Base is kiwi kiss, mat is bashful blue. The 2 scallop borders, which I made using a corner rounder are real red and SP from ghostly greetings. I used the square punch to cut out the DSP from Summer picnic. The sentiment used is from sincere salutations, stamped in kiwi kiss ink

All together now

Here is the 3 transitional scrap book pages together. Pretty spiffy eh?

The 12 x 12

Ok, here it is the 12 x 12. I know it's not that great of a pic but I'm tryin.

All supplies SU

Paper is not quite navy textured cardstock, the DSP on it is from urban garden. I used a strip of kiwi kiss, the square scallop punch in not quite navy and the square punch. The stamp set used is pocket silhouettes in kiwi kiss ink. Last but not least, 2 buttons from the button bouquet.

2 steps together

Here they are put together, scroll down to other posts to see what I am talking about, stay tuned for the 12 x12

Step 2

Ok, I will give you a shot of the next step.

8.5 x 11 baja breeze, I matted a piece of urban garden DSP on white, the strip that I stamped is whisper white matted on not quite navy. I used the stamp set Pocket silhouettes in not quite navy ink, and once again used the mat pack.

Transitional scrapbooking

Holy batman it's been ages since I blogged, why you ask, because I have been busy CRAFTING.

I've started doing transitional pages. First you do a 6 x 6, then 8.5 x 11, then 12 x 12. You will have to keep checking back to see the finished pages.

All supplies SU unless noted.

This is a 6 x 6 kiwi kiss background stamped with itty bitty borders in versamark. The strip of DSP is Urban garden. The mat is baja breeze and around it I punched holes using the mat pack, you can't really see it. The saying comes from the stamp set smarty pants, I popped up using a pop dot, 2 not quite navy brads to top it off.

Green tea DSP

Been really busy with Halloween lately, haven't had time to post much. I hope everyone had a great Halloween.

I have started doing some Splitcoaststampers challenges and thought I would share. This is card sketch challenge 131.

All supplies SU unless noted.

Background is certainly celery, the mats are baja breeze and green tea DSP. I stamped heartfelt thanks in old olive and certainly celery and used the spritzer tool with bordering blue marker. I matted the image on certainly celery. To top it off I used whisper white, and certainly celery ribbon.
