Baby Onesie card

Kind of a crappy picture eh? It's the pink, the pink, it's too light. It's Pink Pirouette, one of SU's new "in" colours, I am not a big fan of it that's way I choose to work with it for this card because I don't really care for it, it's too light.

Isn't this card awesome? I have seen alot of them but never knew how to do it. I stumbled, as always across the tutorial in one of my blog search sessions. The template for it can be found here. I tweaked it a bit myself. I just love, love, love them, the baby onesies I mean.

All supplies SU except for buttons.

Pink Pirouette for the onesie, whisper white for the scallops and 2 white buttons.

Back to my roots

I had my first "splurge" gathering last night, I think things went rather well. 9 of us get together every month, spend 25.00 on SU, eat and craft. It was fun. I haven't made any masculine cards in awhile which is strange as I really enjoy and do alot of manly cards.
All supplies used are SU.
The base is close to cocoa, I matted not quite navy on it with 3 always artichoke brads. I used a mat of bashful blue which I faux stitched, the bear is matted on always artichoke, faux stitching as well. I stamped a sentiment from Lots of thoughts and punched it using the tab punch, threw in a little stapely poo to make it more manly. The bear image is from the stamp set Yukon and I used a blender pen and chalks.

Round 2 of demo swap card

Another cold day out on the prairies, I'm trying to keep warm, thought I would blog. My sister and I have been working on a tutorial, (another vague empty promise here) which I hope to add soon. I have been checking out other blogs alot lately and find I like to visit sites with tutorials, and obviously nice eye candy.

For those that have been here before, this is the other card I came up with (the card on top), for the demo swap on Splitcoaststampers I didn't like the original (one on bottom) so I made another. I still didn't like it, so I made another, I went through some of my cards received in swaps and found a rockin template. I am excited to post it. Well enough of that, check back again to see the master piece.

All supplies used SU

Base is Kiwi Kiss, then matted on Cameo Coral.

Itty bitty bolds with versamark and Iridescent Ice on Cameo Coral.

Mat of white , scallop edge punch, Raspberry Tart DSP, scallop edge punch.

Rose red scallop punch, kiwi kiss circle punch, whisper white circle punch.

Spring stems stamp set coloured with Old Olive and Rose Red markers (you can get away with using old olive to match with Kiwi Kiss is small doses)

Chipboard book

There is not much left to do to finish off the chipboard book, you should have all of your pages assembled and ready to put the book together. I took a crop a dile, figured out where I wanted my holes, and punched them. If you don't own a crop a dile I really suggest you get one, they are awesome.

Chipboard pages.

Hey peeps, I guess I should go back to the chipboard book eh? I choose to put my pages back to back to make it 1 page. Don't know if I said this before but when designing your pages keep in mind how many rings and where you want to place them as you will be using the crop a dile to punch holes through your pages. Make sure you put your pages back to back as you design them so you keep in mind the rings when placing ribbon, embellies etc. Then I just took double sided tape and taped the two of them together.

Inside album

I have just finished doing all the pages for my chipboard album. My intention is to use the crop a dile to bind them together. I thought about adhering the pages to chipboard but I think I will just use the pages back to back and planned for when making. I kept that in mind when designing each page to leave room for the holes from the crop a dile.
The base is SU white card stock, I used a no-name stamp and embossed clear over SU bravo burgundy ink. The DP????, Photo is mounted on SU garden green. I used various ribbon and some staples.

6 x 6 chipbaord album

I have known about chip board for a while now, but never really worked with it. With Christmas having passed and a lot of pictures to scrapbook with I thought I would do something outside the box, for me. I have mentioned tutorials a few times but never done one. I don't even think of this as a tutorial more of a you can learn at the same time as me. Just like I started doing stuff without taking pictures for you, the audience - LOL. So let's try and figure this out together. Once again I dug product names out of the garbage for this and some I still don't know which company they are from. So here we go wwhhheeee.
I took 2 pieces of raw 6 X 6 chipboard, and using Modge Podge adhered some 6 x 6 paper on to the chipboard. I think the picture kind of says it all. After the paper had dried to the chip board I sanded the %*2& out of the edges of the chipboard to distress it. Then another coat of Modge Podge to make it more durable. This will be the front and back of the album.
The name of the paper I used (please remember I don't think I was able to fish everything out of the garbage) on the covers, is unattainable at this time. I will be more specific when I blog the inside pages of the album. I know the designer paper used in the first few pages are by We R Memory Keepers, one is called "CHRISTMAS- CHEERY". Another of the papers used is by a company called Magenta http://www.magentastyle.com/ (sorry if this breaks infringement, linking it wrong etc-my disclaimer) and the paper is DELICATE STRIPES from the Pleasures collection

Harley Davidson

I don't know if I mentioned that I am "in" to Harley Davidson stuff. I partcipated in a card swap with a Harlely theme. I got some rockin cards. (little background info before I proceed. I would love to post some of the pics on my blog of the cards but some how I thinkthat would be against copy right blah blah blah)
I found a Memory clock at my LSS by Heidi Swapp and decided I needed to make one. This was not the clock I was thinking of though. My bedroom is Harley Davidson decor. That's right, orange, black, grey and Harley Davidson.
I am trying to to remember my products that I use for crafting, I even dug in my garbage today to pull out the bottom piece that says what company it's from.
Memory clock by Heidi Swapp, Harley Davidson paper by EK success. I don't know the company that made the Harley stamps set that I used, I will guess EK Success. Whisper White paper from Stampin Up, and basic black, and only orange ink by SU.
