Backwoods, I'm not talkin where I come from

No you are not seeing double, well actually you kind of are . Can you guess what I just got for a new stamp set...that's right, SU's Backwoods. I just love these masculiney type of images. I had a couple of lonely tangerine tango sheets and figured I'd play. I don't think they are overly fab or anything but thought it was neat how you could get 3 different cards with semi the same colour scheme.
All supplies are SU unless noted.
The colours throughout all the cards are tangerine tango, so saffron, bashful blue, old olive, very vanilla, whisper white,Chocolate chip-but really, non SU paper, which I think is close to choc chip, and as usual I can't give you the name of it and last but not least watercolour paper.
Let's see what I used for accessories, choc chip grosgrain ribbon, non SU white button ribbon slide, and a corner rounder to make the scallops.
White grosgrain ribbon-not SU, staple, round tab punch
Looks like I only used the mat pack on that one. The layout of the very first one is from a sketch from SCS which can be found here.

Back to my roots

I had my first "splurge" gathering last night, I think things went rather well. 9 of us get together every month, spend 25.00 on SU, eat and craft. It was fun. I haven't made any masculine cards in awhile which is strange as I really enjoy and do alot of manly cards.
All supplies used are SU.
The base is close to cocoa, I matted not quite navy on it with 3 always artichoke brads. I used a mat of bashful blue which I faux stitched, the bear is matted on always artichoke, faux stitching as well. I stamped a sentiment from Lots of thoughts and punched it using the tab punch, threw in a little stapely poo to make it more manly. The bear image is from the stamp set Yukon and I used a blender pen and chalks.

Lovely as a tree

I am trying to show how versatile the lovely as atree stamp set is. Here is a masculine card.

All supplies SU

Handsome hunter (base), tree matted on brocade blue, DSP is from the kit Home again, mat pack on bottom (mat packs rock, everyone should have one), clear buttons and some hemp twine. Voila. Oh yeah, I used choc chip and handsome hunter to colour the tree.

Harley Davidson

I am participating in a "live to ride, ride to live" swap on SCS. I was going to use my Born to ride set, then I stumbled across my harley set.

Obviously not onlySU supplies. I bought some Harley paper at my LSS, cut and matted on only orange, stamped harley image in OO, distressed sides with SU cutter kit, sponged black around the outsides and 2 black eyelets. The white circles are from the white uni pen thingy, and I traced the circles using SU mat pack.
