Summer, what's going on
I have been busy with my stamp a stack, and splurge. I crafted looong, and hard so am kinda taking a break for now.
This is just a quick simple card I made, it's been a bit so let's hope I get the recipe right. I am just to lazy to trot upstairs to see exactly what I used. I know it's a bit of a "summery" card, but here she goes
Base is kiwi kiss, mat is bashful blue. The 2 scallop borders, which I made using a corner rounder are real red and SP from ghostly greetings. I used the square punch to cut out the DSP from Summer picnic. The sentiment used is from sincere salutations, stamped in kiwi kiss ink

The 12 x 12
Ok, here it is the 12 x 12. I know it's not that great of a pic but I'm tryin.
All supplies SU
Paper is not quite navy textured cardstock, the DSP on it is from urban garden. I used a strip of kiwi kiss, the square scallop punch in not quite navy and the square punch. The stamp set used is pocket silhouettes in kiwi kiss ink. Last but not least, 2 buttons from the button bouquet.

2 steps together
Step 2
Transitional scrapbooking
Holy batman it's been ages since I blogged, why you ask, because I have been busy CRAFTING.
I've started doing transitional pages. First you do a 6 x 6, then 8.5 x 11, then 12 x 12. You will have to keep checking back to see the finished pages.
All supplies SU unless noted.
This is a 6 x 6 kiwi kiss background stamped with itty bitty borders in versamark. The strip of DSP is Urban garden. The mat is baja breeze and around it I punched holes using the mat pack, you can't really see it. The saying comes from the stamp set smarty pants, I popped up using a pop dot, 2 not quite navy brads to top it off.

Green tea DSP
Been really busy with Halloween lately, haven't had time to post much. I hope everyone had a great Halloween.
I have started doing some Splitcoaststampers challenges and thought I would share. This is card sketch challenge 131.
All supplies SU unless noted.
Background is certainly celery, the mats are baja breeze and green tea DSP. I stamped heartfelt thanks in old olive and certainly celery and used the spritzer tool with bordering blue marker. I matted the image on certainly celery. To top it off I used whisper white, and certainly celery ribbon.

Sun ripened
I have a stash of coloured/mounted images that just never seemed to make there way into anything so I decided to start using them.
I am going to start trying to be a little more specific with my recipe, I just don't always seem to recall what I have used.
All supplies used are SU, unless noted.
Sun ripened stamp set, not quite navy for base and mat. The green paper is from a level one print pack. i watercoloured the images with pumpkin pie, close to cocoa for branch, and old olive, garden green for leaves. To top it off I used some ww ribbon, and a piece from the hodge podge kit.

Daughter's quilt
Total sidebar here, I quilt also, this is the only other "crafty" picture I have on my computer. It's called a sampler quilt and it has 12 different blocks on it. Each block is a different pattern, I know that one is called a nine patch. You can't even see all the blocks, anyways sorry to disappoint if you were coming to look at some fantabulous paper crafting.
I made this quilt for my daughter, I also made a sampler quilt for my son. I haven't done it in along time, now that winter is coming I will have to finish the pirate quilt I am making for my husband, it was his christmas gift last year.

Blue is my fav
One of the cards I am making for my stamp a stack, I really like the simplicity of it.
All supplies SU unless noted.
Whisper white and brilliant blue, lovely as a tree stamp set, and Many merry messages stamp set.
I stamped the tree in bb, then took a zig zag glue pen and dabbed it on the tree, then sprinkled dazzling diamonds over it, same thing with the noel. Corner punch, and too little silver spots of bling.

Handsome hunter (base), tree matted on brocade blue, DSP is from the kit Home again, mat pack on bottom (mat packs rock, everyone should have one), clear buttons and some hemp twine. Voila. Oh yeah, I used choc chip and handsome hunter to colour the tree.

Harley Davidson
I am participating in a "live to ride, ride to live" swap on SCS. I was going to use my Born to ride set, then I stumbled across my harley set.
Obviously not onlySU supplies. I bought some Harley paper at my LSS, cut and matted on only orange, stamped harley image in OO, distressed sides with SU cutter kit, sponged black around the outsides and 2 black eyelets. The white circles are from the white uni pen thingy, and I traced the circles using SU mat pack.

My guys
This is a great layout I did of my 2 favourite guys. It was when hubby was going to schoold. He was doing some homework so my son plopped down beside him and did some of his own reading.
The chipboard swirl is from a pirate set (go figure), the rubons are SU, buttons from everywhere and the paper from a kit.
